Full Programme:

Spring Painting Holiday

Day 1 (14th April)

Arrival at Malaga Airport.

Transfer to the village of Canillas de Albaida (around 1.5 hour drive), located in the mountains.

Check-in at the villa at 3pm 

Welcome dinner at the restaurant 8pm – featuring traditional Spanish tapas.

Day 2 (15th April)

Breakfast.

Painting session 11:00 – 17:00

Introduction to Atmospheric watercolour painting techniques.

Understanding main concepts – colour theory, values and atmospheric perspective. 

Painting an object (floral/ plant)

17:00 Excursion to Competa (village around 10 min drive from villa).

Return to the villa in the evening. Dinner at the restaurant

Day 3 (16th April)

Breakfast.

Painting session 11:00 – 17:00

Painting Three-dimensional objects (fruits and vegetables).

Free time.

Dinner at the restaurant

Day 4 (17th April)

Breakfast.

Meeting in the villa 11 am.

All day trip to Alhambra.

Focus on observation of Architecture and landscape.

Return to the villa in the evening.

Dinner at the restaurant

Day 5 (18th April)

Breakfast. Painting session

11:00 – 17:00 Landscape painting.

Group dinner.

Day 6 (19th April)

Breakfast.

Transfer to Malaga Airport for departure (around midday – depending on flight bookings).
